Ericka Knudson is a film scholar who works primarily on the French New Wave. She holds a PhD from the University of Paris and has taught film classes at Harvard, Northeastern, Stanford Continuing Studies and the University of Paris. She has published numerous articles on cinema and literature, and co-authored Cultivating Creativity through World Films with Dr. David Campos. Nouvelles Femmes was inspired in part by her research on De l’amour, des femmes et de la Nouvelle Vague: Reconfigurations culturelles et création d’une modernité filmique française.
